I wrote The Secrets of My Spectrum when I was 16 years old because I wanted to explain more about the daily challenges many autistic people face.
I wanted to show other kids like me that they're not alone and help parents and teachers understand more about autism anxiety and other behaviours they might not always understand.

When I read autism books or watched films on the subject, I found that so much was missed out. I hope that as more of us share our experiences, we can create a wider understanding and acceptance of the autism spectrum.

I have an eBook, Audiobook, Paperback, Hardback and Large Print available. My Audiobook is only available here.

“The blanket of 5 stars that this book has attracted is justified. As a diagnosed Aspie, this book is up there with one of the best I have read. And being the librarian for my local Asperger Group, I have read hundreds of associated books. This is a book I will be recommending. Excellent."

‘What a refreshing look at life with autism! The Secrets of My Spectrum is a candid, personal and highly relatable book about being autistic. Callum retells aspects of his life in short, easy-to-digest chunks which provide key insights in a truly heart-warming way. The tips and notes pages at the end of each section are an excellent resource.
Brilliant read!”

"If I had been given this book as a teenager, I'd have discovered I am autistic a lot sooner and potentially saved a lot of stress and unhappiness. I feel more acceptance of myself now. I relate strongly to so much that is written, and that is a good feeling."

"I read this to help me understand my daughter's feelings and behaviours. It’s really well written and has helped me. I’m going to get my husband to read it too."

"Easy to read, easy to refer to. Really insightful to see ASD from the perspective of someone who has first hand experience. Very relatable for my own son who has ASD. He has even been able to read it himself at the age of 10, to help him understand his own thought processes, behaviours and struggles. Would recommend."
